Colette Burrus worked at IBM for more than 20 years in a

jobs. Her most recent assignment was project manager for the IBM alphaBeans project, working with the “JavaBeans Around the World Team.” She currently works as a
self-employed freelance writer and is co-author of

VisualAge for Java for Non-Programmers,
Building Applications with IBM WebSphere Studio and JavaBeans, and
Developing Web Services for Web Applications.
