Paul H. Harkins

Paul H. Harkins, president and chief technology officer of Harkins Audit Software, Inc., holds BS and MBA degrees from Drexel University and is a graduate of the IBM Systems Research Institute (SRI). He has been working as a corporate programmer for more than 40 years, including 21 years at IBM.

In this book, Paul shares his experience in all the ins-and-outs of corporate programming from his perspective as a programmer, a consultant, a senior systems engineer and a C-level executive. His programming background includes handling programming for hundreds of customer accounts worldwide and creating one-of-a-kind business systems for IBM.

Paul is further experienced as a programming entrepreneur responsible for product development and international support. In his pursuit and attainment of success as a corporate programmer, he pioneered the software auditing technique described in this book to increase programmer productivity and created an award-winning software utility that has US and international patents pending.
